Ian Johnson

Ian (Endr) is a resident tattoo artist in his second year with Apocalypse Girl Tattoo. Bringing a background in graphic design, painting, and large-scale mural work, he has a strong foundation in composition, clean execution, bold linework, and attention to detail in each piece. He thrives in this high-energy environment, and along with his artistic endeavors, he also contributes heavily to the procurement, marketing, and educational programs at Apocalypse Girl.

Ian is especially drawn to darker illustrative work, blackwork, realism, surrealism, and designs that blend recognizable imagery with something unexpected. As he continues to grow into his second year, he’s increasingly focused on larger, more detailed pieces that allow for stronger storytelling and creative experimentation.

Every tattoo starts with collaboration. Ian works closely with each client to understand the idea behind the piece, then develops it into a design that feels personal, visually strong, and built specifically for the body.

Outside of tattooing, Ian continues to create through drawing, painting, commissioned artwork, and mural projects—bringing influences from across the art world back into his tattoo work.
