At Apocalypse Girl, we pride ourselves on having a unique piercing program tailored around service to our clients, discretion and safety. Daniel, our head piercer, has over 20 years experience in the industry, having worked with some of the oldest and most famous body modification shops in California.
His standards for piercers are rigid, with less than five percent of applicants ever meeting the qualifications to pierce at Apocalypse Girl Tattoos. Furthermore all of our piecers do constant Continuing Education throughout the year to stay up on latest techniques, regulations, and trends.
Our piercers are also Red Cross certified in bloodborne/ airborne pathogens, and our enclosed piercing studio is not only cleaned and disinfected between clients, but several times a day.All Jewelry and non disposable tools are cleaned thoroughly, then chemically disinfected, then run through one of our autoclaves, at least once,and packaged individually.
If not used right away, this whole process is repeated. All piercing needles are single use, and inspected prior to use for any imperfections. Any scratches or surface blemishes or anything out of spec, and they are discarded.
All Jewelry used is ASTM-F136 titanium, the same type used in surgical implants. This the safest, highest quality, and most hypoallergenic material we can find in sufficient quantities for widespread use. Niobium and other materials can be ordered on request. While we stock a good variety of jewelry.
We by no means have everything, and it can be challenging keeping up with demand. If you don’t see what you like, please talk to one of our piercers and if we can’t find it, we can have it made. We enjoy good relationships with several custom Jewelers, in the area and abroad who can make whatever jewelry to make your body adornment dreams a reality!

We do pierce minors age 3 and up with parental or legal guardian consent.We ask that you bring documentation in the case of guardianship, and with parental consent we will have to copy the parent’s identification. We also ask that juvenile piercings are done by appointment.

Most of out piercings are walk in, thought we do take appointments. In either case please come in and make yourself comfortable. We have a large selection of free snacks and beverages for our clients and their parties during the process. A piercer will ask to inspect your anatomy to make sure that piercing will work for you.
This inspection can be done in private if you wish.Also they might ask you some basic health questions, pertaining to history, skin conditions, and allergies. They will also discuss jewelry with you. What we want more than anything is for you to have a pleasant experience and for the piercing to heal quickly and properly, so the more we know the better. After filling out the requisite paperwork, the piercer will accompany you to the piercing suite to perform the piercing.
After the piercing is done, and you feel you are recovered sufficiently (we dont rush anyone out the door) we will collect payment and they will thoroughly go over aftercare with you as well and answer any questions you might have.
